A life in Ceramics

Margit Kovács, who was born in Győr in 1902, was born under a lucky star. Unlike most of his teammates, success quickly caught up with him at the beginning of his career and accompanied him until his death in 1977. Systems came and went, but its nimbus rose steadily. The head of state and ecclesiastical dignity of the Far East, a wife of Western and Soviet politicians alike, felt honored to visit him, and they all felt at home in his studio, which, as one of his admirers expressed, was an apartment, a studio and a warehouse at the same time.
