Basic conversation in German

This book is intended to help all those who want to use German effectively even after a short period of learning in basic everyday situations. The chapters of the book cover the topics of the basic (B1 level) language exam. The reader will find the most common questions within each topic and a collection of answers to them in this book. Of course, the answer samples only serve as a guide, in most cases listing different options, from which the language learner can choose the most suitable for him / her, or replace them with other expressions according to his / her own needs and speech intentions. As the primary language exam is predominantly taken by students, we have paid special attention to the examples taken from school life when formulating the answers, but of course students with higher education and adult language students can also use our book to their advantage. The fact that the reader can find the Hungarian equivalents of the questions and answers on the left side on the opposite side helps to find a simple and quick orientation within each topic. Our book can thus also be used as a kind of conversational dictionary. The collection of questions and answers is supplemented by a glossary that contains vocabulary of topics. The glossary uses the usual notations in German lexicography: it gives the abbreviation of the adjective and the ending of the plural in the case of nouns, and the abbreviation of the auxiliary word needed to form the past tense in the case of verbs.
