Description
Omraam Mikhaël Avanhov (1900-1986), a French philosopher and educator of Bulgarian descent, began working in France in 1937. Notwithstanding the inclusion of many elements of the Science of Initiation in his oeuvre, he himself draws our attention to the fact that, for his own development, everyone must work for himself, provided he does so not only for himself but for the benefit of the whole community. Through this, a community will be transformed into a brotherhood. Brotherhood, then, is a community whose cohesive power lies in the fact that each member, by acting for his own good, also consciously serves the good of others. They get used to transforming their daily lives into mandatory actions, the events that happen in their daily lives, and the people they share their lives with or meet in their daily lives as some kind of raw material that they need to work on. Don’t be content with what you get, and don’t just suffer everything that happens to you. Don’t be passive, but always think about what they can add to this material to come to life, become spiritual. For the real intellectual work is nothing more than the ability to incorporate into each of our actions an element which then, as a catalyst, projects that activity to a higher level.
