Description
Artmagazin's articles are published in the field of contemporary and classical art, focusing on Hungarian and international events, research, trends and trends. Our interest extends to border areas: fashion and design are as much a topic here as the connection points between theater, architecture and music. ARTMAGAZINE 116. Dear Reader! Our current cover was inspired by the Bauhaus, in which education began just 100 years ago. In this issue, but also in a number of subsequent articles, we will address perhaps the most influential institution in modern art. What was so decisive, and for example, so intertwined with the concept of modern architecture, that all the houses on Napra-rotó utca in Budapest are Bauhaus, although this concrete relationship with the Bauhaus school can hardly be shown in this sample of different types of houses - as our article shows. We also do deep drilling: we show an interesting example of how the Bauhaus approach has transformed the process of making soft-boiled eggs and even the whole cooking process, whose representatives have really approached every task that arises with the need to develop a new way of life. The German medium that houses (or later does not tax) the Bauhaus is examined by the recently presented lm, which tells the story of one of the greatest living painters, Gerhard Richter; The title of a work without an author is not only because it suggests Richter’s particular creative attitude, but also because Richter himself refused to collaborate with the creators. Officially, then, we can look at the story of an active German painter whose life is almost the same as that of Gerhard Richter - this is the phenomenon we are writing about. The Blue Room, this is the title of a work that is also a reworking of the past, but in a very special form: the work itself is an lm, one of the smallest porcelain copies of antique sculptures in the Museum of Fine Arts - why, the creators talk about it, Tehnica Schweiz group. They are followed by an account of the great Maria Lassnig exhibition in Vienna, which also reveals what Maria Lassnig, who was born 100 years ago, thought about the relationship between love relationships or having children and concentrated artistic work. We will announce an auction of works of art in favor of the Smile Foundation, and then we will present the artist - artformer - who travels on the border between engineering work and art. We also offer an exhibition in Debrecen, which revolves around the history of the panel, as well as the symbolic housing solution of our common past, which is constantly being re-evaluated - the house program has long been mistakenly associated with the Bauhaus. In contrast, we present a portrait of a woman, Cléo de Mérode, who was almost the most influential embodiment of the pre-Bauhaus turn-of-the-century type, but we write about the relationship between the Liberation Monument and art decoplastics, depicting Orpheus and a picture of Dali with little Lenin. -heads appear on piano keys, surrounded by a golden glow that depicts only the saints or the heads of Orpheus torn by menads, but even singing at his death. It is not known whether the protagonist of the picture, the figure who picks up the piano from afar and wears cherries on his armband, likes Lenin's voices, or if he immediately goes there and knocks them down ... In any case, we can say that surrealism is perhaps more relevant today than the Bauhaus. with its utopian worldview. Or at least this Dali image is more in line with today’s conditions. T.
