Basics of nonviolent communication

I hope this little volume also inspires you to embark on or move forward on this wonderful path for me that I owe a lot to. What is this trip about? On strengthening the intention to find a solution to the satisfaction of all parties involved in more and more situations, through honesty from the heart and empathic listening. Walking down this path, I learned a lot about how I can stand up for myself while trying to make it clear to those around me that their well-being is also important to me. One of my greatest discoveries was the awareness that when I don’t take care of myself, I spread violence on earth because I don’t do everything for one person. You may ask: isn't it selfish? I think not. If I only pay attention to myself, I will not experience much love, closeness, warmth in my life. But if I pay attention to myself first and then to the others, it’s a bit like what we’re taught on boarding an airplane. First I put on the oxygen mask myself, then I help the person sitting next to me if necessary. To this end, I wish you perseverance and good luck!
