Beautiful Szentendre

Szentendre is considered the jewel box of the Danube Bend. The picturesque small town studded with churches, with a Mediterranean atmosphere, truly deserves this award thanks to its unique natural and architectural features. The beautiful settlement on the Danube, the city of museums and arts, was made really attractive by its vibrant cultural life. Due to its proximity to the capital, it has become a popular destination for tourists. It is impossible to get bored of the sight of Szentendre - its baroque churches, its colorful houses closely attached to each other, its winding, cobbled streets, small squares, and narrow alleys.
