Bergoglio's list - Pope Francis against the Argentine dictatorship

He has been on the front pages almost every day since the election of Pope Francis. He was also on the front page when, after his election, he was accused of cooperating with the military junta during the Argentine dictatorship. Italian journalist Nello Scavo followed the truth on the basis of previously unknown documents and by speaking to witnesses. It turned out that the exact opposite was true: many could owe their lives to him, even those who were very far away from the Catholic Church. The stakes and risks were not small: in those years, the junta did not even shy away from killing Catholic bishops. The book can be considered a prelude to the volume Bunson: The Mission of Pope Francis, published by Akadémiai Kiadó in the autumn of 2013.
