Description
Krisztina Kollarits (1968, Szombathely) is a teacher and literary historian who graduated from the Hungarian-German department of Eötvös Loránd University. He received his PhD in 2009. Tormay's studies of Cécile have been published in several journals. A book by Cujile, a writer in hiding, went beyond ideological debate and placed Tormay’s assessment on a professional footing. Tormay Cécile's journal, Klebelsberg Kuno, was created on the initiative of the East, to counteract the influence of the West. It was indexed in 1945, and its scientific exploration has only begun in recent years, with the active participation of the author. The writings in this volume review the history of the high-quality revue, a journal of the Christian-national middle class. Krisztina Kollarits sensitively and objectively shows the varied values of the magazine, which have hardly been known so far, the consequences of the editor-in-chief's thinking, such as the Transylvanian writers, conservative essayists, some Westerners, the young László Németh and women writers. The philologically precise but readable volume concludes with a small lexicon of the authors of the East.
