According to the observations, we choose between the objects and phenomena with the same technical and general functional properties based on their aesthetic properties. Our decision has a fundamental impact on the evolution of our environment and its current dramatic situation. What laws move our judgment of taste, within the framework of which common cultural and aesthetic rules of the game does this special game take place? The book tries to find answers to these questions and help you think through them. The grouping of the different topics in each chapter and the images illustrating the text provide the reader with an experiential experience. Throughout his career as a designer and educator, the author has been able to learn about and represent both artistic and technically motivated applied arts, product and design education. During his teaching work at the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and the Budapest University of Technology, the selected material collected over the decades was supplemented with material from the Szerencs Artists' Colony and the Zsennyei Workshop. The appendix to the book is the study entitled "The Structural and Functional Model of Form" prepared in 1989-91 within the framework of the László Moholy-Nagy Design Scholarship, which anticipates the formatting and theoretical background of player tasks.
