László Zsirai has been present in our fiction for forty-four years with his poems, short stories, essays and works of other genres. In addition to essays published in magazines (Kortárs, Tempevölgy, Somogy, Agria) and newspapers (Kersztény Élet, Bécsi Napló), his new book also contains previously unpublished writings. In his large essays, but actually in almost every single one of his writings, he tries to show the ordinary power of goodness, examining the existence of small moments that serve this purpose. It mainly dissects artistic issues, primarily literary aspects. In the company of contemporary poets, writers and public figures, such great creative artists and literary personalities as Géza Gárdonyi, Endre Ady, Ferenc Móra, János Németh Bárdosi, Sándor Sík, András Fodor, András Bíró, József Ratkó, dr. Károly Radics. He is excited by the soul-strengthening works of art and the artists themselves, what place they occupy, what role they play in the spiritual strengthening of people living today, and in general, how their social recognition and appreciation is developing. Among the themes of the book, many examples of healing love and human kindness play an important role.
