Sound signaling workbook

As the 10th member of the Native Language Competence Development Workbooks, the Voice Marking Workbook will be published in a series of two workbooks (Spelling Your Proper Names, Spelling, and Separate Writing Workbook). This booklet aims to help students deepen and practice the content of the rules set out in Chapter 12 of the Hungarian Spelling Rules, entitled Notation. Through five chapters, the workbook covers the four principles of our spelling with a number of interesting tasks, including the following topics: Pronunciation Writing stems Writing suffixes Blurring word analysis Writing style reflecting the shape of word elements Modified forms of word elements Simplifying spelling Complex tasks The intention to develop vocabulary also justifies the inclusion of less common examples, which are not included in the rules, but which occur several times in the secondary school curriculum. The solutions can be found at the end of this publication. This workbook is designed primarily for high school students, but it can also be useful for a wider range of people interested in spelling issues.
