Innovative feeding

The population of our planet is growing rapidly, creating an unprecedented demand for food production, while the state of our environment seems to be deteriorating unstoppably for the time being, and the climate of our planet is changing in an increasingly unfavorable direction. The big question is how to produce food not only in sufficient quantities, but also of the right quality, safe and traceable, in an increasingly difficult environment, with the least possible burden on the environment. The volume Innovative Feeding undertakes nothing less than to answer this question, at least with regard to food ingredients of animal origin. This extremely complex problem can no longer be approached in the usual way, only with an innovative approach. In the present case, this means that this textbook, written in a modern, interdisciplinary approach, integrates the latest research findings from the co-sciences into traditional nutrition science, naturally building on the foundations of "classical" nutrition knowledge. As a result, in addition to internationally renowned researchers in the field of animal nutrition, the authors of each chapter include biologists, chemists, biochemists, immunologists, physicians, veterinarians, animal breeders, plant breeders, and meteorologists.
