The author's name is still well known all over the world, and the majority of tourists visiting our country will certainly visit the famous restaurant, Gundel, founded in 1910. Our book is the largest recipe collection of Hungarian culinary art, published in the most languages, and has gone through more than forty editions since its first edition. The recipe collection was revised and modernized by the author's sons. The little book's preface summarizes everything you need to know about this popular recipe collection; the second part contains the life story of Károly Gundel (1883-1956); in the third chapter, the reader will find a selection of Károly Gundel's witty, good-tasting writings, while the fourth chapter gives easy-to-follow advice for creating Hungarian flavors. Then follow the food descriptions, which are illustrated by many colorful food photos. New edition, published in English, German, Hungarian, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Japanese in 2002.
