Description
Pál Réz was a legendary figure in Hungarian literature, a literary historian, translator, editor of the Fiction Publishing House and editor-in-chief of Holmi. The most important Hungarian writers turned up in his apartment, and as you can read on the back of the memoir Bokig in Champagne, previously published under the care of Magvető Publishing House, he knew their children and courted their wives. After their meetings, József P. Kőrössi recorded their conversations from memory, which can now be read in the form of diary short stories, or rather diary ruins. Log ruins of the other. The other is not always Paul Copper, that is, not only him, but also those of whom he makes serious and sometimes judgments, undisguised, perhaps ill-considered, not originally intended for the public.
