Pécs for children

The book focuses on Pécs and the children, with the help of 10-12 year olds exploring the city through playful tasks. In this, their companion dog escaped from the coat of arms of Pécs. They don’t even notice, and the city becomes a close acquaintance from the sea of houses, squares, streets, institutions. It is a homely place, which is known not only for its main attractions, but also for its history, hidden treasures and natural surroundings. The publication "Pécs for Children" is the first domestic experiment in built environmental education, a popular pedagogical method in Western Europe. It aims to make children not only perceive their city as isolated parts in time and space, but as an integral whole.
