Sirens

The film takes place in the late 1920s on the estate of the famous Australian painter Norman Lindsay. The English Rev. Anthony Campion visits the artist with his beautiful wife. The pastor’s goal is to convince the painter not to exhibit his painting, which is outrageous to the church, Venus crucified. The two men have long debates about art and morality, often in the company of naked muses. Their differing views result in a number of comic situations.
