Textual workbook

The 16th member of the Mother Tongue Competence Development Workbooks deals with grammar. It covers all the topics that a graduate or Hungarian student may need in the field of text studies, and also helps teachers to prepare and compile exam papers. The Textual Workbook was the first booklet to process language levels because it is considered to fill a gap. As a source, we used the author's Summary Task Collection for Secondary Schools in Hungarian, but this workbook contains much more than that on the topic, and a solution key is included. The solutions also provide an explanation for the more complex issues. If this is not enough to understand, we recommend Gaál Edit Hungarian. His book Levels, Planes, Networks, which is based on decades of pedagogical practice. The tasks in the workbook can be freely varied: questions from other tasks can be associated with the sample texts, or other texts can be linked to the questions in a task, either from the workbook or from a stand-alone search. Topics covered in the exercises include: the concept of the text, its components, the types of cohesive force, linear and global cohesion, linkages, and a thematic network.
