Description
The rare coexistence of the three events of human spaceflight inspired this book. The fortieth anniversary of the first landing on the moon was in July 2009, then in May 2010 we commemorated the spaceflight of the first Hungarian astronaut three decades ago, and in 2011 the first spaceflight was around half a century ago. In addition, a new space age has begun on the twentieth anniversary of Space Day, and this event could not be left out of the volume either. The author raises raises from the space history of the past five decades, following the order of the anniversaries. There are no gigantic number columns in his work for the rocket data, nor will we know the specific impulse values of the engines. In contrast, the focus of the stories is always on man, with his space secrets, the victories and defeats of the past five decades, his expressed and repressed desires, his rivalry, in a word, the fall of everyday life in the cosmos and here on Earth. The volume focuses on the person and space travel of the Hungarian astronaut Bertalan Farkas.
