The book VHDL-Based System Design aims to introduce the reader to a very useful tool for designing electronic circuits and systems as a descriptive language for input to various design systems. The field of electronic system design is characterized by constant development and transformation - new demands are appearing every day, which can only be met with a more complex digital system than before. The engine of all this is technological development, which is manifested in the continuous improvement of the characteristics of microelectronic devices. This book is intended to help anyone who wants to develop a digital electronic or mechatronic system, as well as a textbook for VHDL-related university or college courses, but can also be used in other courses, as well as for those who want to do so individually. to get acquainted with the topic. In addition to the above, the aim of the book is to develop the Hungarian language of VHDL-based system design. In some cases, we consciously used a suffering structure because the main goal was to keep the language of the book concise. In today's accelerated age, our language can be preserved and developed if it adapts to current requirements.
