Description
Dr. Tribes Júlia Anna was three years old when she and her mother were deported from Karcag, a small farmhouse. They were taken from camp to camp, members of the wider family fell victim to the persecution of the Jews, but the little girl survived. After his liberation, he saw his laborer father again, who by then had become one of the leaders of the communist regime. Their relationship was by no means cloudless, with many mental injuries and serious illnesses plaguing Anna, who meanwhile unceasingly believed that her beloved mother might not have died, maybe somewhere in the world they would meet again one day, and then recognize her. In October 1956, the high school girl and some of her friends escaped across the border in an adventurous way, becoming a doctor, a child psychiatrist and an employee of the world-famous Gugging Institute, a favorite doctor of ArtBrut’s defining figures under the wings of Leo Navratil. And meanwhile, everywhere and always she was looking for her mom, she missed her, she loved her. In his reading, short recollection, he describes with childhood what it was like to be almost nothing in death camps, and what it was like to survive, to start again, to really live. All this without accusation, full of love, in a smile-touching way.
