I am convinced that children’s vegetable consumption habits are shaped by parental patterns. When the salad is on the table for family meals, the tiny but small steps are taken: first the sweet corn kernels are squeezed out of the mixes, then the carrots cut into star-shaped crumbs are grouped separately, and finally the iceberg lettuce is loved.
