"… What is ours" is fifty writings about the family

Family. Wondering about this word for the cardinal, the bishop, the rabbi, the Olympic champion, the medical professor, the director, the writer, the politician, the bank manager, the racer, the opera singer, the head of a family organization, or even my own father ? I asked them. My request was to write something about the family. Anything they can think of, without genre restrictions. I turned to Hungarian people who are worth listening to, who are worth paying attention to, and who I personally appreciate. There are known acquaintances among the authors, and some are unknown to the majority. There is talk in the scriptures of belonging together and struggling, and the common denominator is faith and grace. I hope the book will help us, as the quote from Simone Weil in the title says, "learn to long for what is ours." Katalin Novák
