Our present volume, which is the third in a series of books entitled Cultural Literature launched last year, examines the possibilities of dialogue between the late and postmodern poetics of the historical tradition of Hungarian poetry. In addition to the new approaches of the late modern competitive language tradition (Attila József, Sándor Weöres, János Pilinszky, Ágnes Nemes Nagy, Gyula Illyés, Zsuzsa Rab), it deals with its postmodern survival in various formations; with rewriting and rewriting (Szilárd Borbély), forms of intertextual and internal memory (Krisztina Tóth), figures of language, genre and reference play (Sándor Kányádi, Lajos Parti Nagy, János Géczi, Gábor Schein, Ágnes Kiss Judit, Dénes Krusovszky ), the theoretical and practical issues of literary translation (in connection with Alice in Wonderland), the verse of sacredness (Eszter Dobozi, János Lackfi, Szilárd Borbély, István Kemény) and the possibilities of poetizing experiences beyond the boundaries of linguistics (Katalin Ladik, Zoltán Németh) .
