Plant protection of nuts

Nuts (walnuts, almonds, chestnuts, hazelnuts) are treated in the literature by both the literature and cultivation. The last publication related to their cultivation and thus their plant protection was published in 1976 (Szentiványi P .: Dió + Pejovics B .: Almond + Horn E .: Mogyoró + Szentiványi P .: Chestnut). This fact, as well as the changed phytosanitary conditions over the past decades and a number of new, state-of-the-art plant protection procedures, have prompted a modern summary of the topic. First, the plant protection of nuts is usually reviewed by the authors, and then pests and pests are listed by fruit variety. The control options are described and the list of different agents that can be used in integrated pest management is provided in tabular form. A bibliography complements the volume illustrated with drawings and photographs.
