Mór Wertner, an excellent genealogist of Hungarian family history, summarizes the history of the Hungarian genera in the Árpádian period in his extensive work, and his work was later supplemented by a similar work by János Christmas. Yet why Wertner's handbook should still be published today is explained by its structure and regression-like disclosure, which still makes the researcher's job much easier today.
