Mandis János Sólyomvári, Hungarian royal financial adviser, chief inspector of tobacco factories and exchange offices, knight of the Order of the Iron Crown, honorary citizen of the city of Arad. Died May 1882. 8. In Budapest in his 57th year. His work "Handbook of Reasonable Tobacco Production and Treatment" was the best professional work on the subject at the time. Hungary had a long tradition of tobacco cultivation and his book became almost a textbook for the domestic tobacco industry. This edition is a reprint version of the work published in 1870.
