In the 19th century, the Hungarian crown and the Hungarian throne became the subject of international demands and demands, just at the time when the Turkish threat, which completely paralyzed the country's destiny for a century and a half later, first appeared from the east. Thus, the era that is inextricably linked to the name of János Hunyadi does not belong to the peaceful, balanced era of the country. In this "world" overwhelmed by anarchy, a simple Transylvanian nobleman, our John Hunyadi, emerges from almost nothing, curbing this Turkish threat with his sword. But not just ours, but the whole of Christian Europe. That is why he receives from the Pope the honorary title of "atletha Christi," the champion of Christ, and this bell is reminded of this bell ringing in Christian countries at noon. The struggle with the Turks accompanied János Hunyadi throughout his life, but while it meant ascension for the simple border fortress, his life became a great task for the governor. Our book aims to give you an authentic picture of Hunyadi and his age. That is why we draw not only an authentic picture of Hungary, which was ravaged by party struggles, but also of contemporary Europe and the Ottoman State, which threatened to absorb it.
