Description
Today, tens of thousands (!) Of researchers around the world deal with biological and medical electronics sensors, of which the so-called “intelligence” of the implanted measuring (and partially stimulating) device is becoming important, especially for implanted sensors. “Biomed” is now an independent discipline, many Hungarian research institutes and universities are intensively engaged in biomedical research, and as a result, this field is gaining more and more importance in higher education every year. The book offers a comprehensive and very up-to-date picture for professionals and university students interested in this direction. Particular emphasis is placed on the high-level electronics used in intelligent sensors: intelligence itself is fundamentally realized by electronics, with the contribution of biology, medicine, chemical technology, fine mechanics and many other disciplines, of course. The author is an electrical engineer-computer scientist, whose work is marked by more than 300 publications, including eight specialist books, and who already lectures as a professor emeritus at the Faculty of Informatics of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University.
