Hungary has been enjoying the advantages (and disadvantages) of EU membership, the common agricultural policy and the single market for more than 6 years. The rules that hinder trade have been greatly simplified, but in the case of trade with the EU, our products must continue to be sold to a different consumer base. It is therefore still necessary to address the technical aspects of foreign trade, in particular prices, methods of payment, guarantees, and so on. The commercial characteristics of some professional fields are illustrated in the volume by the publication of two case studies which, although apparently dealing with food distribution, go much further than that. We hope that our book and our bibliography, which will help you to find out more, will not only help interested professionals and students in higher education, but will also stimulate further information in the field.
