"Between 1960-1971 and 1985-1988, under the leadership of István Dienes and then László Kovács, 540 graves were excavated on the Kónya hill in Magyarhomorog (Hajdú-Bihar municipality), which the present analysis showed that on the same ridge, in the immediate vicinity of each other, a 10 with 17 graves century, and then an 11th-12th century cemetery with 523 graves was opened independently. The smaller one was part of a short-term settlement (lodge), where 11 archers - including 4 horsemen - and a few family members were buried, and in the village cemetery, which has been in use for more than a century 127 men and 176 women were laid to rest accompanied by their children. The villagers put a total of 200 silver denars minted during the reigns of István I and István II (1000--1131) into 145 graves. , mainly silver and bronze ornaments - wire jewelry, beads, pendants, necklaces and bracelets, rings - with unique local and chronological (horizontal stratigraphic) detail, as well as down made it possible to evaluate the combination. A man's and a woman's grave with special finds were also found. The fully excavated cemeteries are located indirectly on the eastern bank of the Kis-Sárrét between the 10th and 12th. century population was shed light on.
