Hungarians at the European Football Championships

1964: bronze medal, 1972: fourth place, 2016: ? The Hungarian national football team is participating in the finals of the European Championship for the third time. The fans had to wait forty-four years for this, so it is no coincidence that there is huge interest in the matches of our national team in France. The author takes into account the performances of the Hungarian national team in the European Championship so far, the successes and the less successful stages. The presentation of the European Cup, which started in 1927, could not be missed either, as this event can be considered the ancestor of the European Championship. By the way, in 1953, the Hungarian national team led by Puskás finished first. The 2016 Euro qualifiers and the additional qualifiers against the Norwegians received special attention in the book. The analysis concludes with the presentation of group F of the continental championship starting in June - the "Hungarian group". The book is complemented by 60 black-and-white and 22 color pictures.
