"The military history of Hungary, planned for four volumes, re-presents our 1,100-year military history after thirty years - somewhat different from previous summaries and with different emphases. The first volume, From the beginning to 1526, discusses the military history of the Middle Ages: starting from the Roman period, since then, the Carpathian Basin has been influentially included in the Western world until the Battle of Mohács. At the same time, the summary tries to present the results of the renewed historical geography, castle and armament history research much more organically than before. The book is illustrated by around 300 pictures and maps."
