Old aunt deer

"My old aunt, warm-hearted, hard-working, waist, lives in Mátraalja, on the edge of the village, I know this tale from her ..." Everyone knows this tale, these rhymes and these drawings, to whom her mother, grandmother or the kindergarten aunt. Simply put, who was a small child in Hungary sometime in the last half century. The old man healing the broken-legged deer is so well known that we would almost think it was a folktale figure, even though it was written by Anna Fazekas and drawn by Emy Róna. Folk-like, simple, catchy rhymes are indelibly etched in our memories and accompany us from our preschool age until one day, as grandparents, we ourselves tell this story to our grandchildren. Exactly 60 years after its first appearance, Aunt's Old Deer is once again in the care of Móra Könyvkiadó.
