Stapled book

János Arany's "linked book" is one of the most precious intellectual and material memories of Hungarian literature. The manuscript book donated by Pál Gyulai to János Arany on August 20, 1856 belonged to the collection of the Kisfaludy Society, and after its dissolution, in 1953 it was placed in the Manuscript Library of the Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. On the blank pages of the unique leather-bound book, Gold wrote a number of his own poems, his private record of his daughter's illness and death, and then the poems of his last creative period, the cycle of Ő "Autumn".
