Mr. Musketeer

Endre Ady's book of short stories entitled Teacher Musketeer was first published in 1913 at Tevan Nyomda és Könyvkiadó in Békéscsaba. Andevan Tevan, the publisher’s leader, has launched a new series of booklets called the Tevan Library, following a modern French pattern from the turn of the century. The volume of nine short stories appeared in this series. The short stories were compiled directly for the Publisher by Zoltán Franyó, an outstanding publicist of the era, a close friend of Ady. The success of the volume is indicated by the completion of the second edition in 1921. The volume was published in reprint by the Tevan Foundation in 2009 in honor of Adre Endy, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of his death.
