Gardening is not appropriate on Good Friday

The narrator of Zsófia Czakó's introductory volume lives with an Italian man, far from the small Hungarian town in which she grew up in the Catholic milieu. He works at the container box office of Milan Cathedral, where he sells tickets. He left a well-paying job there for this job, and - although neither his Italian nor his Hungarian family understands what he was looking for in this place - he felt free for the first time in a long time. The author examines the interactions between sense of duty and compulsion to comply, willingness to compromise and fear of expectations, complexes and anxieties in the writings of this volume. What will Aunt Rosaria, Aunt Ica say, what do the Italian neighbor and Father Gábor think? And under the pressure of an inexhaustible environment of well-intentioned advice and suggestions, he seeks the possibility of it: what would he do if he acted only for his own good?
