Texas dreams

The story on which the novel is based takes place in the America of the 1970s, the land of dreams, the land of unlimited possibilities, presenting the many pitfalls of starting over, the feeling of vulnerability and love, and then of being without a companion, friendships over which the god of our time, money, and all of this is characteristic of the author, celebrated in his usual colorful, no frills style. Everything that characterizes our days gives the story a special meaning and relevance. It is true, today people are not primarily fleeing from the dictatorship, they go abroad, rather they leave their homeland behind in the hope of a better living. Yet, regardless of ages and countries, they all face the same problems sooner or later. (Domonkos Botz)
