Description
In this new book, Lőrinc Kabdebó analyzes the leading figure of the second wave of Hungarian lyrical modernity, Lőrinc Szabó, and his oeuvre from a comparative point of view. On the other hand, comparing the poetry of Szőró Lőrinc with the poetry of Attila József, as much as he shows the coincidence of the world experience of the two poets, with his subtle reflections he characterizes the marked differences in showing the effect of tradition in Pilinszky's lyric. Thirdly, he interprets the poems of Lőrinc Szabó together with the poet's journalism and literary studies. the poetry of the first half of the twentieth century was occupied. For all this, Lóránt Kabdebó actually starts from interpreting a single enigmatic line, and then he comes back to it all the time, fully understanding what it might mean: "The Universe is just a Poet's Brain."
