Krisztián Bokor's poems reveal the chronicle of youth. A young prince leaves the protection of the family castle and encounters old age, sickness and death - in short, he becomes acquainted with suffering. The brilliance of childhood is a thing of the past, the lights of the afterlife are still shining from behind a veil. It is the last moment of twilight before it turns into evening, and also the last moment of descending darkness before the street lights come on. And in the reader too - if he wanders along the path of the poems - the flame comes alive. (Tibor Babiczky)
